The aim of the Journal of Integrative Neuroscience (JIN) is to act as an unbiased and permanent forum for a synthesis of the brain sciences through the auspices of modeling and experimental investigation of the brain and its cognitive functions using technologies that allow traversing multiple levels of neural organization. Most welcome are papers that combine studies on the functional organization of brain systems across hierarchical levels with the goal to elucidate brain operations leading to species-typical behaviors. The scope of the Journal is broad, encompassing all aspects of neuroscience.
